Hi Annie! Nice to hear from you!! Did you go to junior high with one of the Gott girls? Which one? I’m glad you like the envelope idea. It’s been working for me so far, so we’ll see. Hi! My mom works at CLC with yours, and directed me here months ago (also, you made tasty tasty red velvet cake bites for my sister’s voice recital back in the spring, and furthermore I’m pretty sure I went to junior high with one of your cousins!), so I’ve been lurking for a while. I’m in grad school at the U of Iowa and have been doing the “swipe the card” for everything for so long that it’s really started to add up! I’m definitely trying this envelope thing starting with my next paycheck, thanks so much for posting about it. I just love your blog in general – I’m in a complete “ack! what do I want to do here??” point in my life right now, so it’s fantastic to read how you are figuring those things out yourself.
